In the spring of 2008, Kevin won the VA Beach Next Big Star Competition. The Next Big Star was Kenny Chesney’s ode to his hit “Big Star” where artists in every market of his tour that year were hand picked to open that date.

Kevin has shared the floodlights with a great list of industry vets and hitmakers and Kevin proves time and again he knows how to read and please a crowd. Kevin will be opening for REO Speedwagon this summer on 7 of their US dates.. He’s written with legendary Nashville hit makers Keith Stegall and Buddy Cannon, and Grammy award-winning songwriters Wyatt Durrette and Levi Lowery.
